Welcome to the “HAE Youngsters Toolkit” course series!
HAE South Africa and Hana Faulds worked on creating a wonderful and educational toolkit for the young HAE patients in South Africa.
We are very happy to have had the chance to collaborate with both Hana and HAE South Africa, in making their toolkit a course series for the HAEi Advocacy Academy and help them reach more youngsters in our global community.
In these courses, you will find a lot of information and tips about HAE in the times of school, puberty and adulthood. Each course has it’s own resourse section where we’ve provided tools we believe will be useful when talking about HAE at home, school or with your friends and partners.

A look at different stages of life as someone is growing up with HAE. In this course, we discuss challenges in school lives and how to manage and overcome them, the role of parent(s) in helping school life be a bit easier, and more.

A look at different stages of life as someone is growing up with HAE. In this course, we discuss dealing with HAE through puberty, the importance of the youngster's community, balancing social lives, and more.

A look at different stages of life as someone is growing up with HAE. In this course, we discuss being a young adult with HAE, sexual health and wellbeing, and more.
